Surf Mama back in Ballydavid

Final destination of our roadtrip down the Wild Atlantic way – Baile na nGall Ballydavid. I strated writing Surf Mama on this beach 12 years ago, so it was the obvious place for the launch – which I took literally. I put the book in a ziploc bag and paddled it out to Ballydavid point break at sunset – waves were microscopic, but it might have been a bit hard to surf with a book in my hands anyway. Then pulled up on the beach and went to TPs bar for a talk, a few pints of Guinnes, music and craic….
